Cowboy Cabin Oil Painting

Ethel “Christina” Skultety was born on October 29, 1919 in Nebraska. She died on January 6, 2021 at her home in Stanfield, Oregon at the age of 101 years. She was quite the artist. This original oil painting on canvas depicts a cowboy coming home to a wintery cabin. The hues in the sky show a winter sunset of light purples and blues. The mountains are covered in snow. What a gorgeous place! This painting was purchased in Hermiston, Oregon at an art show in the early 2000’s. This painting would look great in a cabin. The frame appears to be Oak. It measures about 13” long by 11” wide. The canvas itself, inside the frame, measures about 9” x 7”. There is wire on the back for hanging. The frame was made by Grumbacher in New York. The painting is in very good condition.
