VTG 1950s Vanity Powder Box

This stunning 1950s plastic vanity box was made by the iconic Schwarz Bros. Plastics Inc. of Glendale, California. Molded in a beautiful pastel blush pink hue, this lidded powder box features a beautifully sculpted scalloped silhouette. The top lid is decorated with an ivory-white applied floral rose and leaf motif. When flipped open on its intact metal hinge, the lid reveals a unique, built-in grid basket insert—perfect for keeping a powder puff, cosmetic sponges, or tiny treasures organized. The base is clearly stamped with the official maker's mark: "Schwarz Bros. Plastics, Glendale, Calif." • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The pink and white plastics are clean with vibrant color, minor yellowing near applique. The metal hinge works smoothly and stays open nicely. Free of major cracks or stains common with plasticware of this era.
