Vintage Chinese Reverse Painted Glass Orb

Whimsical Art with this beautiful vintage Chinese reverse-painted glass orb. Features a beautifully detailed, hand-painted scene of playful kittens and fluttering butterflies. The "inside-painting technique requires the artisan to insert a minute brush through the base opening, painting the entire image backwards from the inside out. A true testament to patience and traditional craftmanship! Globe sits on its included carved wooden stand with a dark finish.
