$10.00
Add a touch of classic English heritage to your table or vanity with this beautiful vintage earthenware bread and butter/dessert plate by the legendary Wedgwood of England. Featuring the highly sought-after "Ranunculus" (Multicolor) pattern, this 6.5-inch plate showcases a vibrant, hand-colored botanical transfer design in deep cobalt blue, warm yellow, and red. The vibrant florals are framed perfectly by the iconic ribbed fluting and scalloped edge of Wedgwood’s traditional creamware body. On the reverse, the plate features an impressed date code marking its exact production to 1949 during the historic transitional period at the Etruria & Barlaston works. A lovely replacement piece to complete a cherished family set or use as a gorgeous trinket dish on a nightstand! 6.5 inches in diameter. Good vintage condition. Free of chips, cracks, or structural damage. The front maintains a high-gloss finish. The reverse shows uniform, tight glaze crazing consistent with 1940s English earthenware (see photos for close-up details).
