This piece is highly significant to collectors as it represents the very First Edition of Goebel's celebrated annual Easter egg series. Crafted in West Germany, the white porcelain egg features a delightfully textured, hand-painted yellow baby chick in raised relief. The front is clearly stamped with the year 1978.
