Vintage Mid-Century Clipper Ship Oil Mini Paintings - Set of 3

These are original oil paintings executed on masonite board using an impasto brush technique, giving the splashing white sea foam and cresting waves a wonderful textured, three-dimensional depth. Each piece is housed in its original 1960s/1970s molded composite frame finished in a striking antiqued gold over black faux-baroque style. Frame Dimensions: 8.25" x 6.25" (Each). Great vintage condition. Paint is stable and vibrant. There is a spot of staining on one painting as seen in pictures. Two frames are structurally sound with light age-appropriate character wear. One frame (horizintal painting with white sails- right bottom ) has a broken corner that has been repaired but hardly noticeable. Backing boards have tape as several of the holding tabs have popped off. .
