Miniature Basket Salt Cellar with Clear Glass Insert - Victorian Filigree Tableware

Late 19th to early 20th. The metal is likely pewter, lead solder, or a silvered pot metal/quadruple plate typical of late 19th to early 20th-century novelty tableware. The vertical seam on the side shows how the filigree rim was bent into shape and soldered together. Dimensions: 2" Length x 1.5" Width (approx. 2.5" High to the top of the handle). Beautiful antique condition with a rich, unpolished aged metal patina. The glass insert is intact with no major cracks. (Please see photos for a complete look at its vintage character).
