Antique Stern Brothers sterling thimble

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible antique sterling silver sewing thimble crafted by the renowned American silversmiths Stern Brothers & Co. This piece features the company's historic fouled anchor maker's mark, which accurately dates its production window between 1890 and 1908. It features lovely flowers alternating with blank panels around the base band.A wonderful addition to any antique sewing collection, textile history display, or a unique gift for a seamstress. Condition Report: Very good antique condition with a natural aged patina. Shape: Almost a perfect circle. Only slightly off. See photos. Wear: The dimples on the apex/dome are crisp and deep.
