1898 William Harvey Medical Biography by D’Arcy Power Early American edition of D’Arcy Power’s illustrated biography of physician William Harvey, published by Longmans, Green & Co. in 1898 as part of the Masters of Medicine series. Features olive-green cloth boards, ornate gilt medical imagery, a portrait frontispiece and intentionally deckled page edges. Approximate dimensions: 7¾” H × 5¼” W × 1¼” D The cloth binding shows rubbing, scuffs and edge wear, with fraying and material loss at the top of the spine. Pages have age-related toning and scattered foxing. A previous owner’s handwritten inscription appears inside, and the frontispiece tissue guard has tearing and partial loss. As shown in photos.
