Vintage Onyx Perpetual Desk Calendar with Brass Rollers

This elegant vintage desk accessory features a brass perpetual calendar mechanism mounted on a polished white onyx slab base. Three rolling cylinders display the day of the week, date, and month, and can be manually advanced — it never goes out of style and never needs batteries. The base measures approximately 8 inches long (ruler read, approximate) and about 2 inches tall, with green felt on the bottom to protect surfaces. A sophisticated accent for a home office, library desk, or Hollywood Regency vanity — the kind of piece that looks like it belongs in a well-appointed study. See photos for condition as there are a couple dings.
