Cambridge Uranium Glass Apple Blossom Bowl

This elegant Cambridge Glass Company console bowl features the beloved Apple Blossom etched pattern in green, widely known as Cambridge’s “Light Emerald,” with gold encrusted trim along the beautifully scalloped rim. The delicate floral etching covers the full surface of the bowl with Cambridge’s signature blossoms and foliage, and the gold accent along the ruffled edge adds a luxurious finishing touch. Produced in the 1930s, Apple Blossom is one of Cambridge’s most collected etched patterns, and the green colorway is especially prized because the glass formula contains uranium oxide, meaning it will glow vivid green under UV/black light. This is a showstopping piece for depression glass collectors, elegant glass enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the artistry of American glassmaking at its peak.
