Vintage Ceramic Floral Wall Pocket

This vintage ceramic wall pocket is shaped like a sealed envelope with a decorative flap, featuring raised yellow lace-like edging, hand-painted flowers in pink, blue, yellow, and lavender along the lower front, and a lovely allover crackle glaze finish that gives it wonderful aged character. The back has a keyhole hanger for easy wall mounting. Approximately 6" tall (ruler read is approximate). No maker's mark is visible. This is a sweet, whimsical piece for a cottage bedroom, a powder room, or displayed among other wall pockets in a collected gallery wall. It could hold dried flowers, small letters, or simply be displayed as art. Crazing present.
