Leonard Silver Plated Condiment Jar Caddy with Spoon, Korea - DANA

A vintage condiment caddy holding two diamond point pressed glass jars, each capped with a domed silverplate lid and topped with a round finial. The jars sit in a silverplate stand with a center carrying handle and a built in slot for the matching spoon, which hangs neatly between the two jars when not in use. The spoon is stamped Leonard Silver Plated Korea, giving a clear maker and origin. This style of caddy was designed for the table, meant to hold jam, honey, mustard, or relish side by side within easy reach. The silverplate shows expected tarnish and age throughout, giving it warmth rather than a bright showroom shine. A lovely piece for a grandmillennial breakfast table, a vintage tea service, or a cottagecore pantry shelf.
