Barth Mann German Cobalt Blue and Crackled Gold Bud Vase, 8"

A footed bud vase in deep cobalt glass, the flared trumpet body wrapped in a wide band of crackled gold that catches light like gilded leather, edged top and bottom in fine gold lines. The stem is knopped twice above a broad round foot, giving it the silhouette of a small candlestick. The original gold foil Barth Mann label is still adhered to the underside, marking it as German glass, a maker known for exactly this royal blue and crackle gilt treatment. Stands 8 inches tall on a 3 inch foot. Perfect for a single stem, and handsome enough to earn its place empty on a mantel, vanity, or bookshelf. Light wear to the gold consistent with age. Cobalt blue glass, gold crackle vase, German glass, Barth Mann, bud vase, jewel tone decor.
