Pair of Ram's Head Brass Tone Candlesticks

A matched pair of cast metal candlesticks with a ram's head motif at the top of each column, draped foliate detail down the stem, and small hoof feet meeting the square stepped base. Wide flared candle cups fit standard tapers. Original black felt remains on both bases. The finish shows warm gold tone across the bases with a darker aged patina through the cups and upper columns. Ram head styling like this shows up in Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, and Neoclassical decor, and it pairs well on a mantel, an entry table, or a dark moody shelf.
