Condition: Antique condition with substantial age-related patina, tarnish, oxidation, scratches and finish wear. Nickel-plated surface has worn through in areas, exposing the copper beneath. Green verdigris is present. Wooden handle shows age and wear. Original lid is present. Description: Large antique Majestic copper tea kettle with an aged nickel-plated finish, removable lid, long spout and swinging metal handle with turned wood grip. The spout is stamped PATENTED MAY 17, 1898. Heavy natural patina and exposed copper give this one especially strong primitive farmhouse character. Best suited for collectible or decorative display rather than food use. Approximately 10 inches tall to the top of the handle and about 11 inches across the body/spout area based on your measurements.
