‘53 McCoy pottery log planter

This iconic American art pottery piece features a highly detailed, textured "faux bois" tree bark design complete with molded wrap-around chains and a log-cutter's handsaw motif. It is finished in a warm, glossy deep brown glaze that brings out the wonderful dimensional depth of the mold. Perfect for showcasing small succulents, cacti, air plants, or herbs on a windowsill or mantle. It also makes a fantastic, unique desk organizer or gift for a vintage pottery collector! Good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The glaze is bright and glossy in most places.
