A charming mid-century figural planter, a cherub perched at the front of a wheeled cornucopia carriage, gold reins in hand, being pulled by a whimsical snail-shell "horse." The ivory crackle glaze body is hand-painted with soft pink and blue floral garlands, green leaves, and gold star and diamond accents, with a gold rim line along the cornucopia's wavy edge. Turned over, it's clearly marked "Vinola," numbered 5506A, and dated January 1963, a nice detail for anyone who likes to know exactly what they're collecting. Sweet whimsical styling, great for a nursery shelf, a spring tablescape, or tucked into a curated vintage vignette.
