Ardco Cherub Compote Planter, Grapes

Vintage ceramic compote planter by Ardco of Dallas, with the foil Ardco Fine Quality Dallas Made in Japan label on the bottom. Two cherubs sit at the base of a grapevine column and hold up a scalloped bowl covered in raised grapes and grape leaves. It has a pale blue white glaze with deeper blue gray in the recesses. Use it for small plants, dried flowers, or trinkets, or just display it on a shelf. Small rust colored flecks in the glaze, and wear on the bottom edge of the base.
