Vintage Mid-Century Ceramic Pear Salt and Pepper Shakers This is a charming pair of authentic Mid-Century modern novelty salt and pepper shakers crafted in the shape of pears. The set features a high-gloss lemon-yellow glazed body beautifully contrasted by blended seafoam green highlights near the tapered top stems where the dispense holes are located. Glazed ceramic / earthenware. The organic, bottom-heavy pear contour features a smooth finish with slightly raised, hand-painted details. Commonly imported during the 1950s to 1960’s. See pics
