Kissing Santa and Mrs. Claus Salt and Pepper Shakers - DANA

A vintage hand painted ceramic salt and pepper shaker pair, Santa and Mrs. Claus leaning in for a kiss with their eyes closed and their cheeks flushed. She wears her white hair in a bun with wire rim glasses and a red dress with a white hem, he wears his red suit with a black belt and boots and a stocking cap tipped back over his beard. The two pose together perfectly as a facing pair, the way this style of mid century Christmas shaker was designed to be displayed. No maker mark is visible on the base, which is common for imported holiday shakers of this era that were originally foil stickered. Both shakers retain their original cork stoppers.
