Avocado green Brockway "Nouveau" pressed glass with a beaded scalloped rim and radiating frosted arches. MCM barware with real weight to it.
A vintage Brockway Glass Company ice bucket in the "Nouveau" pattern — deep avocado-emerald green pressed glass with textured, radiating ribs sweeping from the base up to a beaded scalloped rim. The frosted, stippled arches catch light against the clear polished panels, giving the whole piece an Art Deco geometry inside a very mid-century green. Brockway produced this pattern from the late 1970s into the 80s in clear, amber, and this coveted green colorway, and it has become a favorite of MCM barware collectors and moody-maximalist decorators alike. Beautiful on a bar cart holding ice, chilling a bottle of wine, or repurposed as a heavy-bodied vessel for dried florals. Approximately 8" tall per the ruler shown; light wear to the base consistent with age.
