Vintage ceramic cone-shaped wall pocket vase decorated with a hand-painted green and yellow bird perched on a cherry branch. It was manufactured in Japan and is typically dated back to the mid-20th century (circa 1940s–1950s).
The visible network of fine lines across the surface glaze is called crazing. This is a completely natural aging process for vintage Japanese art pottery and often enhances its retro look.
